Stephen Merriman

Originally from Ireland, Stephen holds a degree in Business and Management, majoring in Economics and Finance. He began his career as a financial planner in Dublin before relocating to Australia in 2018, where he joined Partners Wealth Group.

Since joining the firm, Stephen has held several key roles, including Paraplanning and Compliance Manager, and most recently, Implementation Manager. In his current role, he oversees the paraplanning, associate, and financial planning associate teams, driving alignment and operational efficiency across these functions. Stephen plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between operations and other business units to deliver a seamless and high-quality client experience. He is passionate about developing talent and enhancing process efficiency to support scalable growth. Most recently, he has taken on the additional responsibility of leading M&A integration initiatives, leveraging his broad expertise to support strategic growth and transformation.

Outside of work, Stephen loves being outdoors—whether it's hiking, running, or enjoying a round of golf. He also enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his wife. A passionate sports fan, Stephen supports Manchester United and his adopted AFL team, the Western Bulldogs.
